Rose A. Tobias, (nee Reichel), age 95, late of Crete, IL and formerly of the East Side passed away on September 26, 2026. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Joseph, Andrew, and John Tobias. Devoted grandmother of Joey and Jason Tobias. Dearest sister of late Joseph (late Lois) Reichel. Rose was devoted to her catholic faith serving as an organist at Sacred Heart, St. Francis de Sales and St. Liborius Parishes.  

Visitation Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 West 97th Lane (1/2 block west of U. S. 41 / Wicker Ave. at 97th Lane) St. John, IN 46373. A visitation will also take place on  Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Liborius Church 71 West 35th Street, Steger, IL 60475. Interment St. Mary Cemeter, Evergreen Park, IL. 219-365-3474. www.elmwoodchapel.com.
