Mary Ellen Furmanek, (nee Foundos), age 83, late of Lansing, IL passed away on September 19,2026. Beloved wife of Richard Furmanek for 64 years. Loving mother of Richard (Debbie) Furmanek, Robert (Jaime) Furmanek, and Joanne (Patrick) Dunne. Devoted grandmother of Caitlin Furmanek, Rachel Furmanek, Emilie (Jason) Lionberg, Zachary Furmanek and Jacob Furmanek. Cherished great-grandmother of Scottie Jo Lionberg and Callaway Lionberg. Dear sister of Katheryn (James) Giasafakis. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents George and Joan Foundos and brothers George Foundos and Connie (Marianne) Foundos. Mary Ellen especially loved cooking and caring for her family along with crafts and shopping.
