Dario Petrassi, age 81, late of Merrillville, IN and formerly of Chicago passed away on September 10, 2026. Beloved husband of Anna for 55 years. Loving father of Dario Petrassi, Jr. and Fiore Petrassi. Devoted grandfather of Angelina Petrassi, Antonella Petrassi, Angel LeGrand, Mario LeGrand, Adriana LeGrand, Ameliah Petrassi, Amiyha Petrassi, Dayami Petrassi, Mariana Petrassi, Eliana Petrassi, and Fiore Petrassi, Jr. Cherished great-grandfather of Elena. Dear son of the late Fiore and late Maria Petrassi. Dearest brother of Carmen (late Rosina) Petrassi, Domenico Petrassi, late Rosina (Dave) Almendares, late Oscar (Maria) Petrassi, and late Nicola (late Elvera) Petrassi. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired employee of the City of Chicago.
