Mary Pimental, age 56 of Hammond, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2026. Mary was born July 22, 1970, in Riverside, California to Robert Pimental and Irene Verdugo. She is survived by her significant other, of 8 years, Chris Daniel and two children: Amber and Jade.

Mary was a faithful mother, aunt, sister, and daughter. Mary was a loyal friend and warm-hearted. She filled the room with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Mary, being a huge bears fan, never stopped believing it was their year. Her life continues to shine brightly in those who loved her most. But she would want us to party like it’s 1999.

Visitation Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave, Chicago.  Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Elmwood Chapel.  Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.  For Funeral info please call 773-731-2749.
