Andrea Lee Waysok (née Wisniewski), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at the age of 77.

Andrea was born on December 16, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois. She married the love of her life, the late Richard Waysok, and together they shared 61 loving years of marriage. Their life together was filled with family, treasured memories, and a love that remained a lasting part of Andrea’s heart as they built their home and raised their family in Crete, Illinois.

Andrea was the loving mother of Richelle Tulsiak and the cherished grandmother of Steven and Jennifer Tulsiak. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leonard and Stephanie Wisniewski, and her sister, Diane Wisniewski.

Andrea possessed a remarkable appreciation for beauty, history, and fine art. An avid and passionate collector, she turned her love of treasured objects and antiques into a lifelong vocation. Her passion and discerning eye ultimately led her to become the proud owner of G&G Auction Gallery in Peotone, Illinois, which she operated for more than 30 years.

Through G&G Auction, Andrea became known for her exceptional knowledge, dedication, and genuine love of fine art and distinctive estates. Her work brought remarkable collections and high-end estates to collectors and enthusiasts throughout the United States and around the world. What began as a personal passion became a lasting legacy, touching countless lives and leaving an enduring mark on the auction and collecting community.

Andrea will be remembered for her strength, independence, discerning spirit, and extraordinary passion for the beautiful and unique things in life. Above all, she will be deeply missed by the family she loved so dearly and by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her legacy lives through her daughter, grandchildren, the memories she created, and the many lives she touched through her remarkable journey.
