Died happy and peacefully, worshipped his wife, Josephine (Miceli), loved his daughters Debi (Pillarella) and Michele (Pygon). Adored his grandsons Joseph, Luke, Tyler, Jake, and Jason. Admired his son-in-laws - James Pillarella (late) and John Pope. Son-in-law to the late Angelo and late Sylvia Miceli; brother-in-law to the late Pat Miceli and Carol Miceli and the late Angelo Jr. and the late Sharon Miceli. Uncle to Angela, Angelo III, and John Miceli. Retired Chicago Board of Education teacher, assistant principal, acting principal, coordinator, and central office administrator. Former St. Louis Cardinal organization professional baseball player. Proctor of employment examinations for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. Patient advisory council member of Powers Health Community Hospital and devotee of health and wellness at Powers Health Fitness Pointe in Munster, Indiana. Member of the Matt and Louise Ban family of 95th and Commercial, South Chicago, Illinois.

Visitation and Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Directly at Christ Our Light Church (Formerly St. Florian Church) 13145 S. Houston Ave. Chicago, IL. 60633 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
