Barbara Wisniewski (nee Martinez), age 80, late of the East Side passed away on May 30, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Loving mother of Sharon (Rafael) Hernandez, Susan (Anthony) Schemensky, and Steven Wisniewski. Devoted grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Dearest sister of Jacqueline (Bill Kowalski) Tansley, Linda Badie, late Robert (Marianne) Martinez, late William Martinez, late Thomas (Carol) Martinez, and the late Daniel Martinez. Fond aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.  

Visitation Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred. 773-731-2749. www.elmwoodchapel.com.
