Teofilo Carbajal, age 90, late of the East Side passed away on May 26, 2026. Beloved husband of Maria Carbajal “Lupe” for 72 years. Loving father of Jesus (Dolores) Carvajal, late Francisco (Teresa) Carbajal, Servando (Emma Rodriguez) Carbajal, David (Lucha) Carvajal, Martina Carbajal, Teofilo (Violeta) Carvajal Jr., Lety (Gerardo) Padilla, and Maricela (Danny Green) Carvajal. Devoted grandfather of 20 and cherished great-grandfather of 9. Dear son of the late Vicente and late Adelaida Carvajal. Teofilo was one of 10 children, both living and deceased both in Mexico and the United States. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was a retired employee of Naylor Pipe, who worked hard to provide for his loving family.  He was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Visitation Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until prayers at 11:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. (Noon). Interment to take place in Cañadas De Obregon, Jalisco, Mexico. 773-731-2749. www.elmwoodchapel.com.
