Maria Lillian Rosiar (nee Rohaly), age 86. Late of South Chicago. Passed away on May 22, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Edward Rosiar for 48 years. Loving mother of Robert, Ronald (Jennifer), and Roger. Devoted grandmother of Benjamin, Charles, Evelyn, and Kayla Robyn Rosiar. Dearest sister of Joseph and late William Rohaly. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Julia Rohaly. She was loved by all. Maria was a longtime volunteer at Sacred Heart School and Library. She spent her time assembling family photo albums, cooking, reading, and crafting. Maria kept sharp by playing scrabble and solving crossword puzzles. She was an avid fan of the tv show Survivor and loved spoiling her grand dog Ruger.

Visitation Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday, May 29, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
