Jesus Martin “Jesse”, age 46. Late of Sauk Village, IL., formerly of the East Side. Passed away on May 20, 2026. Beloved father of Zen and Violet Martin. Loving son of Jesus and Maria Martin. Cherished brother of Alfredo and the late Julian Martin. Adored grandson of Arturo and Sarah Gonzalez, and the late Jesus and Crecensia Martin. Jesus loved spending time with his daughters, his family, loved cooking, reading bible passages, was an avid guitar player, and enjoyed skateboarding.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. 60617 to Jesus Shepherd of Souls Parish (St. Andrew the Apostle Site) for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
