A sincere rancher, he fell in love with Raquel, they married and spent 56 beautiful loyal years together. His legacy lives on through his seven children. Baltazar was an exemplary father, he showed his love with actions and although he was a man of few words, he was a man whose comforting presence and gentle eyes expressed far more than a long conversation ever could.

Baltazar worked in quality control at Wexler Meat Company where he received praise for his exceptional work ethic.  After Wexler closed its facility, his personal drive to stay in the workforce led him to Pete’s Produce where he retired at age 73. He made countless friends, and his network is a true testament to the warmth he shared with the world.

Devoted to his faith and family, Baltazar brought endless joy to those around him. He loved good food, sharing laughs with loved ones, and making vacation memories.

Candles Lit
"Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of such a beautiful family. Mr. Alvarez was the first person we met when we moved to the neighborhood. Everyday since he has been like that of a candle, welcoming us home as sending us on our way with blessings. Thank you Mr. Alvarez for your comforting presence while Carmello dealt with the illness/loss of his mom. Though the two of you couldn’t understand each other verbally, your bond still grew immensely. Your presence has warmed our hearts for the past 8 years. Now the memories will last us a lifetime. "
