Louise Schillaci, age 90. Lifelong resident of the South East Side of Chicago. Passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2026 at her daughter’s residence in Schererville IN. Beloved wife of the late Angelo. Louise is survived by her children John (Vanessa) Schillaci and Annette (Nico) Luna, over 50 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Louise is also survived by her lifelong friend of over 85 years Marcella Diaz who she met on her first day of school. She is preceded in death by her sons Michael and Joseph Schillaci, mother Mary Swiatkowski and siblings Francis Lopez, Joanne Schillaci, and John Swiatkowski. Louise was a wonderful homemaker who loved to tend to her garden and plants. She especially enjoyed visits from all her grandchildren and could be found any given day watching her favorite game show Jeopardy. Louise was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
