Martha M. Lopez, "Cookie"

Passed away on March 9, 2026

Martha M. Lopez, “Cookie”, age 72, late of the East Side passed away on March 9, 2026. Beloved wife of Jose for 50 years. Loving mother of Jose (Yesenia) “B” Lopez, Cristina Lopez, Maribet Lopez, Francisco (CPD) Lopez, Paul Lopez, and Jose Marquez “Chema”. Devoted Nana of Miranda “Princess”, Aidan “Buddy”, and Brianna “Cupcake”. Dear daughter of the late Jose and late Edna Martinez. Martha was one of seven siblings and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Martha was a wife, a mom, and a Nana that loved unconditionally and she was happiest when she was with her family. Martha loved making memories, whether that was by taking her family on vacation to Florida, or going camping, to holidays and sleepovers or just a regular Sunday. Anyone who knew Martha knows how much of a selfless person she was.
She would always ask if you needed anything or just call to check in. She showed her love in various ways, through food, with advice, or with her words. Martha was also a very good storyteller. She loved telling her stories from her life, and those stories will be cherished and shared through her loved ones and so will her legacy. Martha Lopez had one of the biggest hearts humanly possible and her absence will never go unnoticed.
