Geraldine E. “Geri” Wagner Larson (nee Hansen), age 92. Late of Schererville, Indiana (Residences of Deer Creek) formerly of Merrillville, Indiana and the East Side of Chicago. Passed away February 23, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Robert D. Wagner and the late Raymond H. Larson. Loving mother of the late Robert Wagner Jr., Kenneth (Linda) Wagner, Daniel (Darlene) Wagner, the late Catherine (Bruce) Marcheschi, the late Charles (Anne) Wagner, late Richard (Kathy) Wagner, the late Geraldine Pixler and stepmother of Tony (Karen) Larson. Cherished grandmother of Brian Wagner, Gina (Michael) Brainard, Lisa Wagner, Dan (Ashly) Wagner, David (Ashley) Wagner, Leanne Marcheschi, Beth Bourbeau, Christopher Pixler, Ashia (Billy Antoine) Amin, and step grandmother of Kate (Garrick) Guillory and Erika (Josh) Cassoday. Dearest sister of Georgene (late Mike) Oswald and the late Irvin “Bud” (late Joyce) Hansen. Geri is also survived by many loving great grandchildren nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Irvin J and Rose Hansen
Geri was the former Secretary – Treasurer of the Building Improvement and Memorial Fund for 11 ½ years at Bethesda Lutheran Church and a longtime member of the Bethesda Ladies Sewing, Craft Circle, and Altar Guild. She loved to travel, camp, sew, cross stitch, cook, bake, garden, and work on puzzles.
