Nikolaos D. Eliopoulos, age 81, longtime resident of the East Side of Chicago, passed away February 21, 2026. Devoted son of the late Dimitrios and the late Anna (nee Lymberopoulos) Eliopoulos. Loving brother of Antonios (Dini), late Peter (Savoula) and Angelo (Connie) Eliopoulos. Cherished uncle and great-uncle of many beloved nieces and nephews. A retired employee of Republic LTV Steel, he loved his Family, his garden & pear trees, and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, rarely missing a televised game. Funeral Services to be held Thursday, February 26, 2026. DIRECTLY at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 13631 S. Brainard Ave., Chicago, where friends may visit with the family from 9:30am until the time of funeral services at 10:30am. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Agia Kyriaki Church in his hometown Village of Doriza, Tripoli Greece would be appreciated.
