Leonard D. Koronkowski, age 92, late of Hammond, passed away February 19, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Koronkowski. Loving father of Karen Koronkowski and step-son John (Melody) Peldzus. Dearest brother of Shirley (late Todd) Cayer and late Charles (late Bernice) Koronkowski. Former husband of Gloria Koronkowski. Veteran of the U.S. Army Korean War. Retired tool and dye maker. Leonard was a member of Amvets Post #43 and American Legion Post #330. He was an avid bowler and Cubs and Green Bay Packers Fan. Visitation Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service and Military Honors at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, IL. Cemetery Private.
