Richard T. Jeskey “Rich”, age 79. Late of Hegewisch. Passed away on February 19, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Estelle Jeskey for 38 years. Loving father of Anthony (Linda) Mastronardi, Dawn (Richard) Zavesky, and Paul Jeskey. Cherished grandpa “Gramps” of Mishelle (Mike) Smith, Dana, Lauren, Kayla, Kamille, and Dylan. Adored great grandpa of Maveric. Dearest brother of Anthony (Myra) Jeskey, and David (Lynn) Jeskey. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Survived by many friends and will be dearly missed by all. Preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Marie Jeskey. Rich was a Veteran of U.S. Army. Retired electrical engineer. He was a member of American Legion Post #272 and loved to hang out with his friends at Steve’s Lounge.

Visitation and Funeral Services will take place on Monday, February 23, 2026 Directly at St. Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church (1500 186th St. Lansing, IL. 60638) where Rich will Lie in State from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. with the Very Reverend Aleksander Savic, officiating. Entombment Oak Hill Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Chapel – Chicago, IL. 773-731-2749
