Mario Soldo, age 53. Late of South Chicago “Vets Park”, and Hyde Park. Passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2026. Beloved son of the late Jago and late Nevenka Soldo. Loving brother of John Soldo, and Frano (Ana) Soldo. Cherished uncle of Jago, Rafael, Veronica, Mihael, Gabriel, and Leopold. Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many family members in the United States and Croatia. Mario was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church and was a pillar in the Croatian community and the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Visitation and Funeral Services will take place Directly at Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church (2864 E. 96th St. Chicago, Il. 60617) on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Chapel- Chicago, IL. 773-731-2749
