Catherine R. “Cathy” Mroczkowski (nee Menzyk, Toney), age 77.  Late of the East Side.  Passed away January 17, 2026.  Beloved wife of the late Larry “Moe” Mroczkowski.  Loving mother of Mary (Richard) Uzoras, and stepmother of Larry (Jenny) Mroczkowski, and Loretta Mroczkowski.  Cherished grandmother of Dominick (Nayeli) and Catherine (Kyle), Uzoras, Makayla, Tess, Abby, Emma, Larry, Ellie, Maddie, Tommy, and Genevieve Mroczkowski.  Dearest sister of Mary (Ron) Ziolkowski and John (Helen) Menzyk.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Cathy was a longtime active parishioner at Annunciata Church serving on the Parish Council, as a lector, and member of the Women’s Club.  She was a Girl Scout Leader for many years, coach and board member for East Side Girl’s Softball and a member of the American Legion Post #80 Ladies Auxiliary and Amvets Post #43 Ladies Auxiliary. 

Visitation and Funeral Services Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:30 am at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago.  Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.  For more information 773-731-2749.
