Alicia Davila, age 86, late resident of Hegewisch, formerly of South Chicago, and native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Modesto Davila Sr., building a loving family of five children: Lisette (Arcadio) Garcia, Norberto (Ma.Teresa) Davila, Janet (Ruben) Mercado, Walter Davila and Modesto Davila Jr. Devoted grandmother of Jonathan Mercado, Marcos Ortiz, Vanessa (LeAundre) Harrington, Alyssa M. Davila, Desiree L. Davila, Nathalia A. Davila and Walter M. Davila Jr. Precious great-grandmother of Nevaeh J. Harrington, Lailah E. Harrington and Easton M. Davila. Dear sister of Carmen Rivera and many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and many friends. Alicia was a former Extraordinary Minister and Minister of Care at Christ Our Light (St. Florian Parish). She was a retired employee of Jays Potato Chips, a role model to her coworker and friends.
