Judith "Judy" B. Johnson (nee Selenik) passed away October 5, 2025. Formerly of South Chicago and the East Side. Beloved wife of Dennis for 42 Years. Devoted daughter of late Frank and late Jenny Selenik. Dear sister of Twin Joyce (late George) Bozzetti, Mary Lou (Roy) Casey, Late Frank (Barb) and late Edward (Debbie) Selenik. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.Judy was currently employed at Peoples Bank, Munster and worked many years at Royal Savings and Loan in South Chicago. Member of KSKJ Fraternal Lodge. Visitation at Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th Lane (1/2 Block West of US 41/Wicker Ave at 97th St.) St. John, IN. Monday October 13, 2025 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Tuesday October 14, 2025 DIRECTLY at St. Maria Goretti Church (500 Northgate Dr.; Dyer IN. 46311) for a 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. "Judy was my neighbor on the East Side. I was a few years younger and I always admired that she had a twin sister that was her close friend. Judy lit up the room with her friendly smile you could feel her warmth. Through Facebook she sent me a friend reques, and I was so delighted. She loved posting about food recipes and her dog. I will always cherish the Fond memories of her. Condolences to her family."

"I first met Judy at Royal. My parents adored her as she always took the time to help them even if it wasn't something not related to banking. Judy and I took ceramics together along with the Sister and cousin. Oh how she loved her dog Blu, her family and job. Heaven truly has an angle. My prayers are with her family and friends. "
