Lucy E. Zekis (Miller), age 81. Late of Griffith, IN., formerly of Dyer, IN. Beloved wife of late Gerald “Jerry” Zekis for 44 years. Loving mother of Rebecca Andorfer and Christopher Zekis. Cherished grandmother of Jason Andorfer, Justin (Kristina) Andorfer, Bradley (Julie) Andorfer, and Alyssa Ortiz. Adored great-grandmother of Lily, Ethan, Rory, and Michaela. Dear sister of late Richard Miller, late Mary Sue (Richard) Johnson, Dave (Jaci) Miller, late John Miller, Bob (Elsa) Miller and sister-in-law of Regina (Richard) Burin and Charles (Gale) Zekis. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Lucy was a longtime parishioner of St John the Evangelist Church, loved telling stories that made you laugh until your sides hurt, and loved her family above all else – unless they were winning at cards. 

Memorial Visitation and Funeral Service Friday, October 10, 2025 Directly at St. John the Evangelist Church- Day Chapel (11301 W. 93^rd ave. St. John, IN. 46373) from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Inurnment Holy Name Cemetery, Cedar Lake, IN.
