James Valadez Sr. “Jimmy”, age 63, late of Whiting and long-time resident of the East Side passed away on September,12, 2025. Son of the late Elias “Lee” and the late Aurora Valadez. Father of Samantha, Kelly, Jamie and Jimmy Valadez Jr. Grandfather of Lorenzo and Addison. Brother of Steve, late Chris, late Gary, late Val, late Rita and late Eddie. Significant other of Mary Lou Peneva. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends. James was a former Ironworker for Local 1. Services were held privately for the immediate family. Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Chapel.
