Maria S. Ramos, age 85, late of the East Side passed away on September 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Martin Ramos. Loving mother of Joel (Arlene) Ramos, Javier (Lynn) Ramos, Gabriel Ramos, Martin Ramos Jr, Beatrice Ramos, Ruben (Patricia) Ramos and Eduardo (Elyse) Ramos. Devoted grandmother of Valerie (Raymond), Stacy (Gerardo), Sydney, Jason, Eliana, Alicia, Ruben Jr., Jasmine, Javier, Jocelyn, Madelyn and Eduardo Jr. Cherished great-grandmother of Giovani, Olivia, Julian jr. and a special angel on the way. Dear daughter of the late Jesus and late Esther DeLeon. Maria is one of eleven children both alive and deceased here in the United States and Mexico as well as survived by many nieces and nephews.

Maria S. Ramos, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sept 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on Mar 6, 1940, Maria was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved great-grandmother whose life was defined by grace, resilience, and unconditional love.

Maria’s legacy lives on through her seven children, twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her spirit. She was known for her warm heart, her unwavering faith, and the quiet strength that held her family together through every season of life.

Whether she was preparing her famous tacos, she was also famous for her homemade tamales, her vibrant storytelling, and her ability to make everyone feel like the most important person in the room. Her kitchen was always open, and her hugs were always healing. Tending to her garden, or sharing stories from her youth, Maria brought joy and wisdom to all who knew her. Her home was a sanctuary of comfort, laughter, and love—a place where generations gathered and memories were made

. Maria’s life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
