Nicholas Ford Miranda “Nick”, age 17 of Lowell, IN, passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2025. Beloved son of Michelle and Daniel Miranda. Loving brother of Jacob, Zachary, and Caleb. Dearest grandson of Steven and Bonnie Hamlett, and Roland and Penny Miranda. Adored great-grandson of Janet Wilson and Hazel Hamlett. Survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Nick was a kind-hearted, fearless soul who left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He worked at Dimension Fence where he shared a close bond with his boss, Ray. Their connection went far beyond work—he looked up to him, learned from him, and truly loved him like family. Nick adored his sweet dog, Bailey. He found joy in working on cars and could often be found tinkering in the garage—fixing things, breaking them, and learning something new in the process.
With a heart as big as his smile, Nicholas gave his love freely. He cared deeply for his family, his friends, and those blessed enough to cross his path. He was brave, bold, and unafraid to be himself.
Nick loved his Papa who taught him everything he knew about mechanics. From fixing engines to working on rental houses, many of Nick’s skills came from the time they spent together. Nick especially loved visiting the farm with his Papa and Grandma—riding the four wheelers and his dirtbike.
He will be missed beyond measure and remembered forever for his generous heart and fearless spirit.
