Loving mother of Kathy (Ted Cattoni) Mallee, John Mallee Jr., and late Kelly Mallee. Cherished grandmother of Ashly (Daniel) Wagner, Michael (Jessica) Mallee, Kristy Anna (Anthony) Meneghetti, Grace (Kyle Guined, Fiancée) Mallee, John Mallee III, and Austin Mallee. Adored great-grandmother of Brayden. Former employee of South Chicago Trinity Hosptial. Visitation and Funeral Services, Monday, August 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11300 W. 97th Ln. St. John, IN. 46373. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

"Even though I didn't know Ms. Charmaine, I have heard a lot about her from her granddaughter Grace.............I am so sorry for the entire family. I remember losing gramma Gibbon and when I went to see her right before she passed she couldn't speak. I know she heard me and I told her that she was the best gramma anyone could ever have. I know she heard me. I am sure everyone in your family and friends feel the same----she is in Heaven now with God and I know she is looking down upon all of you---talk to her and she will always be with you. She is not gone---she is right there beside you............as she was before she passed, so she will be now...........prayers to all of you.............Love, Donna---Graces' other gramma............. "I'm so sorry to hear about Chamaine, I've known her for a long time. I met her at South Chicago Community Hospital in the late 80's. She was such a good person who loved to help people in need. I lost contact with her these past years, but I never stop thinking of her. May She rest in peace. She is now with her husband John, and daughter Kelly whom I miss as well. God Bless you my dear friend, thank you for all your help you gave me. "
