Passed away on August 8, 2025

Gary Allen Wychocki, aged 71 beautiful years of Hegewisch, Il passed peacefully among loved ones at his home in Dyer, Indiana on Friday August 8th, 2025. He was a proud grandpa, skilled millwright, and an avid drum collector who enjoyed flea markets and restorations. He often spoke fondly of his childhood friends and family growing up on Wolf Lake in "the good ol days." He is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Leslie Wychocki; Loving Father to Daniel (Maggie) Wychocki and Jonathan (Angelina Villar) Wychocki. Cherished Grandfather of Everly Wychocki. Beloved brother to Dennis (Susan) Wychocki and Leonard (Cynthia-deceased) Wychocki.  Gary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial Visitation Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 9:00 am until time of service at 12:00 noon at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th Ln.)
