Phillip A. Lewandoski (Ret. CPD), age 79, late of the East Side, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025.

Beloved husband of Anita Lewandoski (née Munoz) for 50 wonderful years. Loving father of the late Margaret Reyes-Lewandoski, Peter Lewandoski, and Natalie Pietrzak. Devoted grandfather of Cynthia, Crystal, Diamond, Jose, Kimberly, and Mariah. Cherished great-grandfather of Rashawn.

Dear son of the late Thaddus A. and late Sarah Lewandoski. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Phillip proudly served his country as a member of the U.S Navy and continued his life of service as a dedicated Patrolman with the Chicago Police Department, from which he retired with honor. He will be remembered not only for his commitment to duty but also for his deep love for his family and community.

His presence, guidance, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
