Philip R. Hale, age 88, late of St. John, passed away July 24, 2025. Beloved wife Carol (nee Nemcek) for 61 years. Loving father of Brian (Linda), Douglas, and Christopher (Jill) Hale. Devoted grandfather of Dylan, Trevor, Mitchell, Benjamin, Lilian, Tessa, Evangeline, and Daniel. Dearest brother of Rose (late Franklin) Larramore, Ron (Karen) Hale, and Gary (late Penny) Hale. Also survived by his sister-in laws, brother-in laws, nieces and nephews. Veteran of US Marine Corps. Phil worked at Wisconsin Steel until it closed in which he then retired from Advance Bank in Lansing. He was an avid golfer and member of Gary Sportsman Club. Phil loved his wife, family, grandchildren and friends very dearly.

Memorial visitation Saturday, August 2, 2025 1:00 – 4:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 3:00 PM at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W 97th Lane, St. John. Please omit flowers
