Angeline “Angie” Kooper, age 83.  Late of Lake Village, Indiana formerly of Lansing, Illinois.  Passed away July 21, 2025.  Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Kooper.  Loving mother of Christine (Harry) Mooney and Chris (Diane) Sprague.  Cherished grandmother of Jordan Mooney, Stephanie (Wyatt) Trevino, and Shawn (Sophie) Mooney.  Dearest sister of Michael (Maryann) Siorek and John (Natalie) Siorek.  Angie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved dog Lady Elizabeth.  She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Ruth Siorek.  Angie was a retired librarian for the Newton County Library System.  She was a longtime active member of St. Augustus Church and the Daughter’s of Isabelle.  Angie loved playing bingo.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of prayer service at 2:00 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel – Cedar Lake 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way (1/2 block south of 133rd Ave across from the library at Lincoln Plaza Way).  For more information 219-374-9300
