Genevieve “Jenny” Muszynski age 97 late of Valparaiso, IN, born and raised in South Chicago, IL passed away on June 30, 2025. Beloved wife of Andrew Muszynski of 57 years, and dear daughter of Michael and Dorothy Stipanich. Loving mother of late Jerome “Jerry” Kozlowski (late Sue Kozlowski), Susanna “Susie” Minton (Nick Minton), and Craig Kozlowski (Laura Kozlowski), cherished grandmother of Derek, Jason, Jonathan (Diane), Julie (Kenny), Nickie (Sarah), Brian (Carey), Alyssa (Ryan) and Taylor (D’Antoni). Adored great grandmother to Skylar, Addison, late Ivy, Alexis, Amaya, Brandon, Logan, Ashley, Lilly, Blake, late Easton, Mia, Miles, soon to be Makayla Genevieve, Kehlani, and Ace. Treasured great great grandmother to Kenzo. Dearest sister of late Michael, late Sylvia, late Edward, Joanne, and late Virginia. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

As a devoted wife and best friend to Andy, they spent every loving minute of every day together navigating life’s beautiful journey. They were known for the “slow step” dancing to “For the Good Times” and were die-hard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fans. Jenny was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew her. She found great happiness in the simple pleasures of life like cooking, baking, playing board games, cards and especially dinners out which included martinis or her favorite draft. Her greatest love was family events, holidays, and gatherings. Jenny will be best remembered for her caring heart, her incredible faith, and her compassion and kindness to family, friends, and strangers. A devoted catholic and parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church in Valparaiso, IN.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 3:00 p.m until time of service at 7:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th Ln. St John, IN. 46373. Interment Private.

"Uncle Andy, we sent our deep sympathies in the loss of your wife, Jenny. Craig, Susie and family, we extend our deep sympathies on the death of your Mom, Gram, Great Gram. She was one of a kind. Aunt Jenny, we will miss you as part of our family. You are our last aunt. May the angels lead you into paradise, sweet soul. I'm sorry that I won't be able to come to the wake, but will have a Mass said at Ascension Church and also light a candle for you who are now in the Light. Love, your niece, Gina"
