Susan J. Burlingham, “Sue”, nee Javorka, age 65, late of Lynwood, passed away June 11, 2025.  Beloved wife of Bruce for 43 years.  Loving mother of Sarah (Jacob) Adams, Jessica Burlingham, Melissa Burlingham, Emily Burlingham, Caleb (fiancé Jasmine Cortez) and Ann (Joey) Sisk.  Adored grandmother of Shane Coyle, Collin Coyle, Noah Coyle, Mason Sisk and Levi Sisk.  Dearest daughter of the late Peter and late Ann Javorka.  Dear sister of Daniel (Deborah) Javorka, Josephine (Alan) Fisher, Edward (Linda) Javorka, Peter (Laura) Javorka and John (Danielle) Javorka.  Fond aunt of many.

Sue was a retired employee of Sears Roebuck after 30 years of dedicated service and a loyal bartender at Dick’s Hideaway in Calumet City for many years before its closing in 2025.

"Sue, you will be missed very much by me, my sisters Jackie and Penny and Uncle Dick’s many customers over the years. You were always kind to me. I was so sad to hear of your passing. I’ve said prayers every day since. I always noticed how well you were liked. My Uncles passing, and the closing of his bar, Dick’s Hidaway meant I wouldn’t see you again.
