"My heart aches as I bid my best work buddy a final good bye. Tony was a bright soul in my life, knowing he was around during the work day, ready for us to throw ideas at each other and trying to solve the puzzle of IT issues. He was my meal buddy when I was in Chicago and his presence made me feel at home. Dinners at TGIF, McCormicks always included his thoughts of Marianne. He would say, "I'm going to save my steak for Marianne." (Thank you and hugs to you Marianne.) The world is a little dimmer without his presence. As the heart ache lessens, I will recall the memories of all things Tony, his quirkiness, his anxiety, his persistence, and his complaints of "Hey, do you hear that damn dog barking in my backyard." during our meetings. Tony, I said my first "Hi" to you pre-Y2K. In 2024, I said 'Bye for now my good friend'. This time m' dear, I say "Rest now and be at peace." Good bye my friend, you will be missed. "

"Met Tony in 1972...In Kindergarten. I was 4 years old. Although we lost touch through the years,I would see him from time to time when I was back on the east side. It was always a joy seeing Tony. He was a kind, gentle soul. Just a great guy. God Bless You Tony. See you on the flipside my old friend."
