Helen D. Jovanovich, (nee Marianovich), age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep the morning of May 23, 2025. She was previously a resident of Lago Vista in Lockport, IL and the Vets Park area of South Chicago.

Helen was a fierce, smart, beautiful woman who raised 4 children while balancing work and family life. After marrying John in 1956 and raising her children, Helens greatest joy came in welcoming 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She sat on the sidelines cheering many sporting events, plays, musicals, graduations, etc. and always did that with much joy in her heart and a smile on her face. She was a beautiful soul inside and out and her presence will be dearly missed.

Helen is survived by her husband, John Jovanovich. Children, John (Sharon) Jovanovich, Gail (Mark) Botich, Sue (Tim) Patz, and Mary (Anthony) Brazzale. Helen's Grandchildren, Kara, Amy, Nicole, Natalee, Lauren, Anna, Sarah, Dominic and Grace and 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her great grandson Myles Olson.
