Joseph Bufano Jr., age 86. Late of the East Side. Devoted husband of Nancy (nee Weir) for 66 years. Loving father of Dale, Diane, Denise, and Debbie. Cherished grandfather of Tony (Serena) and Sonny, Nicole (Paul), Mallory (Steven), and Dana (Brett). Special friend to MaryAnn Cavacos and Alice. Fond uncle of Steve (Maureen) Bufano, Lou (Adele) Bufano, Mike (Carleen) Henderson, Barry (Peg) Henderson, Dolores (late Rudy) Bufanio, Jim (Jan) Weir, Karen (Mark) Bajenski, Cheryl Morinec, Robert Weir, late Scott Henderson, Andy Henderson, David Bufano, Joe Bufanio, and Angelo Bufanio. Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. 60617. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.

"As Eastsiders would say Joe was a nice guy. Easygoing with a lot of friends and loved his family very much. Any time you would meet him, he was the Siamese, he would welcome seeing you and take time to mention the old days. Met him at the east side roller rink years ago , he never changed. Like I said he was a good guy. My condolences to his family, and prays are with you. "
