Maria Auxilio Mota "Chilo", age 82. Late of South Chicago. Passed away May 22, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Juan De La Cruz Mota for 64 years. Loving mother of Martha (Antonio Romero) Mota, Rosa (Jose) Moreno, Juan (Blanca) Mota, Jose Luis (Sandra) Mota, Carmen (Mauricio) Cortes, Gerardo (Araceli) Mota, Socorro (Daniel) Martinez, the late Juan Carlos, late Gerardo, and the late baby Mota. Cherished grandmother of 23 and great grandmother of 41. Dear sister of Jesus Mota and Guadalupe Mota. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Maria is preceded in death by her parents Juan and Victoria and siblings Herminia Mota, Baltazar Mota, Jose Manuel Mota, and Teresa Mota. Visitation Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 2:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Services Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 9:15 am from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am.
