Marilyn T. Starzak (nee Meyer), age 73. Late of Cedar Lake, IN., formerly of Chicago, IL. Beloved wife of Brian Starzak for 43 years. Loving mother of her fur babies Gus, Cabo, and Cash. Dearest sister of the late Tom (Priscilla) Meyer, late Ann Marie Meyer, Margaret (Edward) Boersma, and John C. Meyer. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews, and special cousin Marge Plocharski. Preceded in death by her parents John and Noreen Meyer. Retired from the Canadian National Railroad after 42 years of dedicated service. Marilyn enjoyed the outdoors, especially canoe trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Minnesota and fly-in fishing trips to Canada. Marilyn also loved live music and the arts attending many concerts, ballets and plays.

Memorial visitation Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. (noon) at Elmwood Chapel and Crematory 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way, Cedar Lake, IN. 46303. 219-374-9300.
