Majida Nemri (nee Mansour), age 66. Late of Hegewisch. Passed away on May 14, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Nedal. Loving mother of Alaa (Lana) Nemri, Rhonda Nemri, Dina Nemri, Areen (Daniel Andrade) Nemri, and Rana (Gabriel) Rosario. Devoted grandmother of Dahlia, Yasmine, Eliana, Juliana, Noah and Hanna. Dearest sister of Foad (late Hind) Mansour, Meriam (Jameel) Alnimri, Badia (late George) Mansour, Laila (Issa) Twal, Jeries (Samar) Mansour,  late Fawzi (late Elin) Mansour and late Majid (Beverly) Mansour. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Majida, a faithful servant of God, leaves behind a legacy of love for her children, grandchildren, and family. She found joy in summer days, tending her garden, cooking heartfelt meals, and expressing her creativity through beaded and painted wall art. Visitation Monday, May 19, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. at the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, IL. Funeral Services Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Directly at Cornerstone Church (3440 178th St., Lansing, IL) where Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
