Passed away on May 13, 2025

Gregorio Tapia, III, “Pops” age 52, late of San Antonio, TX and formerly of South Deering passed away on December 1, 2024. Loving father of Gregorio Tapia IV, Rene (Justine) Pitre-Tapia, Angelo Tapia, Jonathon Tapia, Marcella Gutierrez and Tony Gutierrez. Devoted grandfather of 7. Dear son of Gloria Cortez and the late Gregorio Tapia II. Dearest brother of Gloria (Barbara)Tapia, Adeline (Rafael) Garcia and Rita (late Jose) Villegas. Fond uncle and great uncle of many. Gregorio was a gifted mechanic, loved deep sea fishing, the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He will always be known as a loving dad, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and will be missed by all who knew him. 

 

Memorial Mass Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 3200 East 91st Street Chicago, IL 60617.
