James P. Jablonski, age 86. Late of Dyer, Indiana. Passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Szczepankiewicz) for 64 years. Loving father of James, William, Jeffrey (Jennifer), and Gary Jablonski. Dearest son of the late Bruno and late Eleanore Jablonski. Dear brother of late Richard (late Colette) and late Barbara (late John) Bogovich and brother-in-law of late Lorraine (late Sylvester) Borowski, late Adeline (late Robert) Johnson, Bernadine (late Lawrence) Rozek, and late Barbara (late Edward) Cyrek. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jim was the proud owner of many dogs. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1961-1964. Jim was a steelworker for over 40 years retiring from LTV Steel. He was an avid Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan. Per Jim’s wishes, services were held privately.
