Con tristeza anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro amado Daniel Neri, conocido cariñosamente como "Señor Neri" por sus seres queridos, el 29 de abril del 2025, a la edad de 83 años. Nacido el 28 de agosto de 1941 en Chicago, Illinois, fue un faro de bondad y alegría para todos los que lo conocieron.

Amado esposo de Maria Neri. Padre cariñoso de ♰Guadalupe Neri, Daniel Neri Jr., Silvia (♰Francisco González), Jesus (Melissa) Neri y Julio (Dianna) Neri. Abuelo querido de Vanessa Neri, Alexandro González, Olivia González, Jaclyn Neri, Marianna Neri y Bianca Neri. Amado bisabuelo de seis nietos. Tio cariñoso de muchos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Era un hombre con corazón de oro que formó su familia con su amada esposa Maria Neri. Construyeron juntos su hogar lleno de la calidez de una familia unida, que incluía a su hijos y hija, ♰ Guadalupe, Daniel Jr., Silvia, Jesus y Julio. El Señor Neri fue fuente de sabiduría y risas para sus nietos y bisnietos. Siempre tuvo una querida red de grandes amigos y compadres quienes él enriqueció sus vidas con su presencia y apoyo inquebrantable.

Está precedido en la muerte por sus padres David Neri y Guadalupe Garcia, hijo Guadalupe Neri y yerno Francisco Gonzalez. Sus recuerdos siguieron siendo una luz que lo guió a lo largo de su vida.

El Señor Neri era una persona con muchas pasiones. Su amor y alegría por su familia era evidente en su gentil cuidado que les brindaba a sus hijos y nietos y el cuidado que mostraba hacia su amada esposa.

El legado del Señor Neri es de su familia, amistad y amor. Era el tipo de persona que hacía que todos se sintieran importantes. Su actitud amistosa no era solo un atributo, sino un regalo que daba libremente, haciendo que cada encuentro con él fuera algo para apreciar.

Al despedirnos de nuestro superhéroe, nos consolamos con la marca indeleble que ha dejado en nuestros corazones. Su amor por su familia y las personas que lo rodeaban seguirá resonando en las vidas de aquellos a quienes tocó. El viaje del Señor Neri en esta tierra fue un testimonio del poder de la bondad, la amistad y el amor.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio el día viernes 2 de abril de 2025 en Elmwood Chapel 11200 S Ewing Ave, Chicago, IL 60617 de 2:00 a 8:00 PM. La Misa funeraria será el día sábado 3 de abril de 2025 en la Iglesia católica de Nuestra Señora De Guadalupe ubicada en 3200 E 91st St, Chicago, IL 60617 a las 9:00 am.

El sepelio será en el panteón Holy Cross Cemetery 801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409 después de la Misa. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband Daniel Neri Sr, affectionately known as "Mr. Neri" to his loved ones, on April 29, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on August 28, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, he was a beacon of kindness and joy to all who knew him.

Beloved husband of Maria Neri. Loving father of late Guadalupe Neri, Daniel Neri Jr., Silvia (late Francisco) Gonzalez, Jesus (Melissa) Neri, and Julio (Dianna) Neri. Cherished grandfather of Vanessa Neri, Alex Gonzalez, Olivia Gonzalez, Jaclyn Neri, Marianna Neri, and Bianca Neri. Adored great-grandfather of 6. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

He was a man with a heart of gold who started his family with his beloved wife, Maria. Together, they built their home filled with the warmth of a close-knit family, which included his sons and daughter, ♰Guadalupe, Daniel Jr., Silvia, Jesus, and Julio.

Mr. Neri was a source of wisdom and laughter for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always had a cherished network of great friends and compadres who enriched his life with their presence and unwavering support.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Neri and Guadalupe Garcia, his son, Guadalupe Neri, and his son-in-law, Francisco Gonzalez. Their memories remained a guiding light throughout his life.

Mr. Neri was a man of many passions. His love and joy for his family were evident in the gentle care he gave his children and grandchildren and the care he showed his beloved wife.

Mr. Neri's legacy is one of family, friendship, and love. He was the kind of person who made everyone feel important. His friendly attitude wasn't just an attribute, but a gift he gave freely, making every encounter with him something to cherish.

As we bid farewell to our superhero, we take comfort in the indelible mark he left on our lives and hearts. His love for his family and the people around him will continue to resonate in the lives of those he touched. Mr. Neri's journey on this earth was a testament to the power of kindness, friendship, and love.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 2, 2025 at Elmwood Chapel 11200 S Ewing Ave, Chicago, IL 60617 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church located at 3200 E 91st St, Chicago, IL 60617 at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery 801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL 60409.

You taught me to be the man that I am today, and I'll always treasure the time we had together.
