Ruben Ruiz Soto, age 90, late of South Chicago passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025. Beloved husband of Maria De La Luz Ruiz. Loving father of late Ofelia (late Rogelio) Soto, Olivia (late Javier) Orozco, Gerardo Ruiz, Rebecca (Jaime) Gallegos, late Emma Ruiz, Martha (Jose) Rodriguez, late Ruben Ruiz Jr., Ines (Rene) Guillen, Roberto (Fiancé Mayra Pimentel) Ruiz Lopez, Bertin Gomez, Elizabeth (Ernesto) Munoz and late Jose Jesus Ruiz Martinez. Devoted grandfather and great grandfather of many. Former employee of U. S. Steel South works.
