Jesse G. Alvarez, “Diablo”, age 93, late of the East Side passed away on April 17, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Lee. Loving father of Jesse (late Christina) Elias, late Pamela (late Jacob) Salas, Pauline (Paul) Skorupa, Patricia (late John) Garcia, late Jesse (Diane) Alvarez, Penny (Daniel) Castaneda, and John Alvarez. Devoted grandfather of Nina, Jesse Jr., Mallory, Veronica, Nina (Fred), Benjamin, Lisa (Dan), Roman (Lisa), America (James), John, Lupita (Alex), Jesse, Richard (Aida), Luis (Jaimie), Alex (Nini), Raymond and Danny (Katy). Cherished great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather of many. Dear son of the late Gerardo and late Mercedes Alvarez. Survived by sister-in-law Alyne (John). Preceded in death by brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; Manuela (Julio) Joseph (Mary), Nicholas (Mary), Pete (Mary), Lucy (Jesse), Alfonso (Josephine), Benito (Adeline), Mary, Lupe (Tony), Tony (Anita), Raul (Sharon), and Raul. Fond uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jesse was a U. S. Army Korean War Veteran, Retired employee of Wisconsin Steel and an original member of the Mexican Patriotic Club.

Visitation Tuesday. April 22, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S.
