Celina Gonzalez, age 79, of South Deering passed away on April 8, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Jose Gonzalez. Loving mother of Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Jose (Rosa) Gonzalez, Jorge Gonzalez, the late Victor Gonzalez, Camelia (Jorge) Hernandez and Amelia (Enrique) Gonzalez. Devoted grandmother of fourteen and great-grandmother of two. Dearest daughter of the late Baudelio and the late Guadalupe Barajas. Dear sister of the late Manuel (Antonia) Barajas, Serafina (late Andres) Partida, Margarito (Maria) Barajas, Miguel (Irma) Barajas, Rigoberto Barajas, Elvira (late Jesus) Cisneros, Maria (Raul) Govea and Ernestina (Jaime) Barajas. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. 
 
Known as an incredibly hard-working and independent individual, Celina was a devoted mother and sister. She touched countless lives through her love, true kindness, generosity, and great sense of humor. Her lovely spirit will be missed by so many—especially her children. Celina found joy spending time with her children and grandkids and traveling to visit her siblings in California, Mexico, and Washington. Her sense of humor and lovely personality at family gatherings will never be forgotten. Let us not forget her famous Mexican rice! This delicious dish she cooked will be a cherished memory to everyone that knew her. Celina loved cooking and eating breakfast at Sunrise restaurant. She loved tending to her flowers and plants. Celina enjoyed talking on the phone with her children, siblings, and close family and friends. Celina will be forever loved and never forgotten! Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will always be remembered! 
 
¡Mamá te queremos mucho y siempre estarás en nuestro corazón! ¡Te vamos a extrañar muchísimo! Descansa en paz a lado de Dios y de tu hijo Victor. Esto no es un adiós sino hasta luego, porque algún día nos volveremos a ver en el reino de Dios.
