Jesse G. Alvarez, “Buster”, age 66, late of South Chicago “The Bush” passed away on April 14, 2025. Beloved husband of Diane Alvarez. Loving father of Lupita Alvarez, Jesse Alvarez and Richard (Aida) Alvarez. Devoted grandfather of Alex Ramirez, Alexis Ramirez, Travis Ramirez, Jesse Alvarez, Mone Ordonez, Meoshe Ordonez, Priscilla Alvarez, Richard Alvarez and Mary Alvarez. Cherished great-grandfather of Jordan, Cody and Cloe. Dear son of Jesse and the late Lee Alvarez. Dearest brother of late Pamela (late Jacob) Salas, Pauline (Paul) Skorupa, Patricia (late John) Garcia, Penny (Danny) Castenada, John Alvarez and Jesse (late Christina) Ellias. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. U. S. Navy Veteran. 

 

Visitation Friday, April 18, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617. Funeral service Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cemetery private. 773-731-2749. www.elmwoodchapel.com.

Buster always was a prankster but had a kind heart and very easy going! He will be sorely missed! He will always be remembered as the "ROSE" amongst the weeds!!
