Mary T. Kolodziej, (nee Michalski), age 100 late of South Chicago passed away on April 8, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Walter Kolodziej, Sr. Loving mother of Karen (Susan) Kolodziej and late Walter (Lynda) Kolodziej, Jr. Devoted grandmother of Becky (Gary) Ginaven, Cori (Jared) Byrd, Shelly Needham and Wally (Bethany) Kolodziej. Cherished great-grandmother of Chase (Samantha) Ginaven, Dawson (Autumn) Ginaven, Brady (Fiancé Anna) Ginaven, Jared Byrd Jr., Ethan Byrd, Haley Needham, Sadie Needham, Olive Kolodziej and Ivy Kolodziej. Dear daughter of the late Vincent and late Martha Michalski. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Seniors, Mothers Club and the “Polish Girls”. Longtime active member of Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church where she was a member of numerous organizations.  

Visitation Saturday, April 12, 2025, DIRECTLY at Sacred Heart Croation Catholic Church 2864 East 96th Street Chicago, IL 60617 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
