"As old neighbors, we reflect on Rich who was so effervescent, savvy, competent, and talented in many ways. These qualities will prevail in a legacy to his family. May he rest in peace. Our sincere condolences to all, especially Debbie and Chrissy, as we reflect on our little best friends from Sharon Court! Jack & Jan McKenna"

"My condolences. Rich worked with me at Husky for many years. I enjoyed the time I spent with him outside of work. When I was visiting to Chicago, he made sure I felt at home. When My daughter was born, he would bring me toys for her. When he retired, we kept in touch for a while. I will never forget his Bulls dance team, the Nutcracker and discussions about cars and his model trains. He was a very kind and generous man, talking about his kids and grandkids proudly. I will miss our conversation. He touched so many people's lives as well as made me a better person for knowing him. He will be missed."
