Pedro Flores, age 70, of Mokena Illinois and South Chicago passed away on March 21, 2025. Born on December 10, 1954, in Moctezuma, San Luis Potosì he lived a life defined by faith, hard work, and devotion to family. He is survived by his wife Ivanka Flores, his son Peter Flores (Tanya Morris) and his cherished grandson Peter David Flores. He is also survived by his mother Maria Estela Lopez Rodriguez de Flores, his brother Francisco (Lina) Flores; sisters Delia (Luis) Hernandez, and Maria de Los Angeles (Genaro) Herrera. Brother-in-law Simeon Bisevac; Sister-in-law Melissa (Chuck) Reyna; and many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Asunción Flores, and brothers Margarito (Luisa) Flores and Antonio (Olivia)Flores. Pedro retired from Amtrak Railroad after 35 years of service. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 2864 E. 96th St., Chicago, on Saturday, April 5th with visitation from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m., followed by entombment at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park, Illinois. Pedro will be remembered for his strength, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family.
