Matthew Balcer, age 45, late of East Side, passed away March 22, 2025. Loving father of Kaitlyn Balcer. Devoted son of Albert and Gwen (nee Lewandowski) Balcer. Dearest brother of Monica (Jeff) Highland. Cherished uncle of Noah and Harper. Also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Matt enjoyed playing golf and was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. We have a big hole in our hearts from his passing and that’s because of his imprint in our lives. Funeral Services will take place Tuesday, April 1, 2025 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Nazareth Church (Formerly Annunciata), 11128 S. Avenue G, Chicago, IL. where friends and family will gather for a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, if you are so inclined you may make a donation in honor to Matt to the National MS Society.
