John D. Jarmuz, (Uncle Dave), age 86, late of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on March 17, 2025.

Loving brother of Leonard (Sophia) Jarmuz and Margaret Jarmuz. Devoted uncle of Nick (Meagan) Jarmuz, TJ, and Danielle (Richard) Schissler. Cherished great uncle of Alexander and Andrew Jarmuz and Gwen and Chloe Schissler. He was preceded in death by his parents, John J. and Veronica Jarmuz.

John was a graduate of Leo Catholic High School in Chicago. A veteran of the U.S. Army. John was an avid tennis player. He was a devoted caretaker for many years to his late mother.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 3:00 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel and Crematory: 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way, Cedar Lake, Indiana.
